Durkan Homes have recently sent out flyers to residents showing plans for up to 100 new homes stretching between Sacombe Road and Wadesmill Road.
They will be holding a consultation from Tuesday 30th August until Wednesday 14th September. There are two ways the plans can be viewed, either at the Bengeo Cricket Club on Wednesday 31st August between 2pm-7pm where you can meet the team, or alternatively viewed at http://www.bengeowadesmillroad.co.uk from 30th August onwards.
Durkan say their plans will include a mix of open public spaces and children’s play facilities as well as a network of pedestrian and cycle routes running through and beyond the site. In addition they say there will be the provision of charging points for low and zero carbon vehicles.
Residents can give feedback by 14th September in 3 ways:
- Completing a feedback form at the consultation event
- Emailing comments to bengeowadesmillroad@durkan.co.uk
- Downloading a feedback form from Durkan’s website and posting it to Bengeo Wadesmill Road Consultation, Camargue, Eagle Tower, Cheltenham, GL50 1TA
The area being considered for development is part of the HERT4 District Plan, setting out where additional housing and infrastructure will be built in East Herts until 2033.
Durkan have had experience in Hertford, including The Stiles development on Sacombe Road.
