If you want to avoid the Underground and aren’t sure how to navigate the London bus network try a Boris Bike. These are part of the brilliant Barclay Cycle Hire scheme and are free for the first half hour. You can probably get to most places in the area covered in that time then dock your bike so won’t be liable for charges. Then pick up another one when you’re finished.
